I welcome you all to a world of imaginaton and fantasy, a world where fun is taken seriously, a world that shaped my thoughts as a child and a world which still makes me realise there is a child in me somewhere………… the world of ANIMATION !!!!!!!!!
All my fellow lovers of animation will know that this world is HUGE! Every nation, every continent has its own style of animation, giving rise to a great variety of themes and genres. This is a world where you realise that the more you discover, the more there is to explore! Nothing is absolute or impossible in animation, which is probably why it holds sway over so many hearts and minds.
Every fortnight this dedicated anima-fanatic (me, myself) will write about a special animation series that changed the course of animation history. Everbody knows that it all began with Walt Disney. Too much has already been written about it. My focus will be on animation from different regions of the world, with their own ethic flavours. This month’s theme is Japanese Animation, popularly known as anime, and we will begin with the popular series…..
